You need more info. Glow plug selection depends on many factors to give you the best performance. If you are running high nitro you may want a colder plug , less nitro = hotter plug. Merlin plugs has a wide selection. here is a good link http://www.blueangels.rchomepage.com/glow_plug_info.htm

please excuse me for going of of the question? but i have a question about a o.s. 40 la.max i have been using the o.s. #8 plug i have merlin plugs lying around can i use this in my o.s.the plug is merlin/2003 hot plug[:-]

The O.S. No. 8 plug will work well with 10% nitro fuel on the TT Pro .46 engine. A hot Merlin plug should work fine for the .40 LA as well.
I usually go with the Fox RC Long glow plug as a good default plug for most 2-stroke engines.
