fireproofing?
 


Do I need to fireproof the fuel tank compartment? if so can Iuse 50/50 epoxy alcohol mix?

Do you mean fire proofing or fuel proofing? It is recommended practice to fuel proof the firewall and fuel tank area to prevent contamination of the wood if a fuel leak occurs. There is no way that an epoxy mix will help fire proof anything.

What are you trying to achieve?

Yes, five minute or thirty minute and I drip in enough drops to turn the mixture milky in color and untill it will drip off the brush easily.

I use plain old garden variety rubbing alcohol. Has never failed to set for me.
