fireproofing?
Do I need to fireproof the fuel tank compartment? if so can Iuse 50/50 epoxy alcohol mix? Thanks</p> |
RE: fireproofing?
Do you mean fire proofing or fuel proofing? It is recommended practice to fuel proof the firewall and fuel tank area to prevent contamination of the wood if a fuel leak occurs. There is no way that an epoxy mix will help fire proof anything.
What are you trying to achieve? Bliksem |
RE: fireproofing?

RE: fireproofing?
ORIGINAL: luciuswillson I meant fuelproofing. Can I use epoxy alcohol mix. <br type=''_moz'' /> Yes, five minute or thirty minute and I drip in enough drops to turn the mixture milky in color and untill it will drip off the brush easily. I use plain old garden variety rubbing alcohol. Has never failed to set for me. John |
RE: fireproofing?
