Something tells me that your statement "The switch is rated 10A @ 125v, so I would think good to around 40A or more @ 24v." is not correct. Unfortunately I am unable to state why. Too old or never knew. Anyone else know more about this?

I've seen many posts here particularly dealing with cable/wire thicknesses where there is a lot of discussion about the max amp ratings of the wires, but the difference in voltages versus the cable ratings are completely overlooked.

e.g. someone will say that a 20A cable is insufficent for a 40A RC supply, yet they overlook that the 20A cable is rated for 20A - AT 800 Volts -
