Hello!

Hello all, just signed up, I've been flying for about a month now. I've manged about 15 10 minute flights and I reckon i'm making good progress. I've got a Ripmax 40 Trainer, and i've pretty much sorted take off and landings. I've moved onto loops and things now, I'm just curious about what to get once i've mastered my trainer. I want something low wing and aerobatic, but forgiving! and something with a scale like appearance.

Cheers people, Coog (UK) :D

RE: Hello!

The Sig 4*40 is good.

I am flying it for the last 10 days after mastering trainer and forgiving and good performance with 46FX. Did couple of inverted loops yesterday, I am not sure whether the "inverted loop" is the correct name though, pushing the down elevator while flying inverted and making a loop.

See,

Also Sig SE is recommended by others, but I beleive not as forgiving as 4*

RE: Hello!

Let's see... That would be an inverted, outside loop.

In any case, Welcome to RCU coog! I hope you find us fun and informative.

I agree with the Sig 4*. Another low wing sweetheart is the Goldberg Tiger.

Hey Coog,
Sounds like you're having fun!

I'd recommend a Great Planes Super Sportster. A 46 is MORE than enough power for about anything you'll want to do in the near future.
