OH MY GOD! What a horrible waste it would be to RC a full scale extra or sukhoi! I shiver at the mere thought of it.
As for the general idea of a human in an RC plane...Why not just fly a small full scale???
There is a small home built, I think called the Cricket (not sure), it had very small twin engines, single seat and was probably smaller than the picture above. Give that a try.

I would love.......absoutly love to get into that plane and fly it from within the plane with me at the transmitter. I really don't think that it would be that hard. Whatta ya think. Well, to think about it, I weigh 154 so I don't think that it would lift off with my fat @%#......but that would be so much fun.......speaking of making a full scale into a RC........is that possible.....you know at I think that it is like Joe Nall or something like that where a guy has a full scale Extra that put pictures of HUGE......I mean HUGE servo pictures........I really though that the full scale was a RC plane but then I figured it out!!!! Stupid me.......just go to www.joenall.com . Then I believe it is to the first event or something and then "Photos" then click "Event Photos". You are sure to find it sometime or another....... I think that you realy could make the full scale into a RC flying machine. Look at my signature.........I hope that you all get to see the pictures???????!!!!!!! THANKS.................

and say
WHY??
I dream of things
that never were and say
WHY NOT"

Whataya think of that.........if you have the imgaination then you can do nethin????

The US Air Force have had R/C drones of then-current aircraft for years. The designation Q in front of the model type designates it as a drone, such as QF-4E. Most were painted bright orange or red and actually included full flight controls so the plane could be flown with or without a pilot. Check out this photo of a drone F-104 and a B-47 bomber!

RE: Flying in Plane....

well its not a dc 10 or the military version the kc 10 as its not a three engined tricycle geared jet so maybe you mean dc 3 which it still isnt as stated above no windows the military version-c 47 had the windows removed why you ask i guessing that its cause if the paratroppers saw all the flak down there they might have had second thoughts about jumping in to it.
