Looking sweeeet!

Just got back from the field myself with my new and improved taildragger! As soon as the tail lift off the ground on takeoff she tracks striat as an arrow and I let her go all the way down the runway and about 15 feet before the end i pull up (looks sweet). Today i was feeling good so I pulled off some hammer heads and a little inverted flight. Along with my new APC 10x7 she really rips thru the sky. I would come in for low passes then go full throttle and pull right up. I know this sounds tame but i'm just starting to get into aerobatics. All in all it was an awesome evening of flying!

If you want a little more power get the 11x7 APC. Thats what I use

Thats what i wanted but my LHS guy said it would be to long. I think hes right because at my field i'm almost mowing the feild on taxi's. When i came down from my first flight you could see the blood from bugs i hit on my prop. It was cool cause my prop looked red with green tips!:)

I bought that prop mainly for speed. My Alpha will go about 80mph in level flight. I love flying knife edge with it. The guys at the field were lovin' the aerobatics that the Alpha can do.

Hey you guys always remember to pull up elevator while taxing to sitck the tail to the ground, I don't like those main gears so close to the middle of the plane, Rightys' are ok, but some of those gears are to close to the middle and you may tip the plane over. Trust me it can happen....

this is true, but sometimes you get in a situation where there isnt enough room to finish your turn, or get your tail gear stuck.... go to idle, then full down elevator with full left/right rudder, and watch the tail lift up and over....
