reversed caburator???
 

Is there a way that the carb on a os engine be reversed so that control for it would be on opposite side and it can be done are there any pros and cons.

Which OS engine? Some have a remote needle valve & some don't. Do you mean installing the carb backward?

os 46 ax yes have tiger 2 arf and control tube on left side instead of right was wondering if it was easier to reverse carb than modify

You can reverse the carb on many engines, not sure about your's though.

As you've heard already, many can be reversed, but one small problem is that the fuel nipple is usually pointing backward. If you reverse the carb, it will now point forward.

If it were me... I'd just put a control rod tube on the proper side for your engine and not try to muck around with carb reversal.

Don't quite work that way with the throttle valve opening backwards,Your midrange will go south with a lot of other things[:o]:eek: Yes I have tried it[:@]

thanks for the advice went the opposite way had to cut out tube for throttle and nose wheel and drill holes and put new tubes looking at it they glued firewall and some bulkheads backwards
