nexstar advise.....
hello...
I am looking to take the trainer flaps off of my nexstar...but before I do...has anybody flown the nexstar with out the flaps on or with out the added wing tips?.... |
RE: nexstar advise.....
I've taught several students that had the Nexstar. I think it flies much better without the flaps. You can leave the wing droops on if you want, but I would say take them off. I also recommend to disconnect the AFS.
Hope this helps Ken |

RE: nexstar advise.....
I have also flown several Nexstars. I usually have the student take the flaps off even before the first flight. It's never been a problem. And I have flown a couple without the wing droops on and I really didn't notice much difference in the way it flies. But it may be that I was adjusting to different flying without being aware of it.
Either way, it's a good flying plane. |
