elec. dual motor question- having problems
hey all, new to this aircraft forum but not new to the site(had a car). ok anyways i have a plane with dual engines and when i have the trim set even(so no props are spinning) then i hit the throttle and one of the engine spins faster than the other. im not sure but i think that they are dual 180 engines. i checked all the connections but there seems to be no problem. also when i have the throttle off and i just hit the left/right the right prop is spinning slower than the left by alot. What do you guys think the problem might be? i was thinking maybe just a falty engine but i really no nothing about it.
thanks for the help Boarding |
RE: elec. dual motor question- having problems
it would help to know the plane and manufacturer there is a b-29 electric that uses offset engine speed to make it turn instead of the normal rudder or airleron.aslo no elevater control as engine speed is used to control altitude.

RE: elec. dual motor question- having problems
no its just a crappy little plane that i bought for like $80 i just dont know why its doing this. its called a thrilljunkies avenger fx [link=http://www.thrilljunkies.com/rc-planes/avenger-fx-park-flyer.aspx]click here to see it[/link] well there it is its a 3 channel uses the motors to turn and the thing in the back on the bottom(rudder??) to go up and down. i was thinkin of throwin it out but i spent $80 on it and only got it up in the air about 2 times. so i didnt get my money outta it yet. can someone please tell me whats wrong with it. thanks boarding

RE: elec. dual motor question- having problems
not familliar with these but some electrics require that you have the throtle in the low position when turning on the plane then you wait a few seconds before moving any sticks.some have a led that is supposed to light when all is ok.if none of this is the problem could be that the tx is just not returning to zero due to some manufacturing errror in the stick assembly or pots.

RE: elec. dual motor question- having problems
Sounds like one of the motors, or one of the speed controls is defective. Take it back.
