Hi All,
Finally, I got the pictures to show you.
My son had to come over to help me transfer the photos to the site and fiddle around with some programs.
He's the comp. nerd not me! lol
Thanks elenasgrumpy for your advice.
Enjoy!

I built a convetional field box from plywood and particle board (heavy!). Then, I got a tackle box from Wal-Mart, and now I wind up carrying both to the field. The tackle box is for spare parts and stuff, and the convetional field box is for fuel, Windex, rags, glow drivers, and the starter. BTW, the starter changes homes every once in a while

My brother got a box like yours for Christmas. Where we fly is about 35 miles from his house, and 45 from mine, so he likes to have "everything" with him. In addition to the tackle box he has a plastic tool box full of props, a 'normal' flight box, and a tool box about the size of the tackle box.

I have a Goldberg Mini Tote and a Hobbico prebuilt field box. In addition to fuel and starting equipment, I carry spare props, glow plugs, wing bolts, and landing gear bolts; and a few tools. Even if my brother wasn't going to be there I'd probably carry very little. If I need more than these things I probably cannot fix it at the field anyway.

There's always [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_167247/mpage_1/key_field%2Cbox%2Chell/tm.htm]this[/link] one. The one I have is a variation of it.

My flight tote is on the left side of the plane stand.

I've been using a 5 gallon bucket for quite a while. Holds fuel, any size props, towels, radio, and container for wrenches and small items.

Lol Ok I wasn't gonna go there, but I was kinda thinking the same thing. Excellent job on your field box! I'm glad you were able to find some ideas to work with.

I guess I'm a little superstitious. All the guys at the club preach bring a big garbage bag everytime you go flying. I allways tell them YOU bring a bag if you came to crash. I came to fly!!:)
