Covering Question

Well, I had to perform a little surgery today. My Twist fell off my workbench and damaged my aileron. One of the diagonal braces was cracked and the trailing edge as well. At first, I tried to peel back the covering, repair it and then tack it back down and shrink it back. What ended up happenning, was that the edges where I used the iron did not stick and the whole piece shrunk up on me.
My question is, what is the best way to repair this? Here's a picture of what i'm talking about. |

Once the adhesive on the covering has been activated by heat and attached to the wood you can't reattach it. To recover the repair you're going to have to purchase a roll of covering and recover the repaired area with fresh new covering. Hope this helps Ken |
