Hobbico is a HUGE company, and they own many companies. Here are some of the ones that I can remember right off of the top of my head (I'm sure I'll miss some):

Hobbico
Tower Hobbies
Omni Hobbies
Great Planes
Dynaflight
OS engines
Top Flite
Super Tigre
Futaba

It's pretty hard to participate in this hobby and avoid Hobbico.

There are some well-respected names in there. I think that, aside from making $, Hobbico does a reasonably good job in the marketplace.

I got ne beefs with them they're the ones who built the plane that I can actually now fly without turning it into a lawn dart![&:]:)
