rsCVN-71,
I hear that alot about not liking covering. I must be weird or something (Bruce, be quiet. You can't answer that until friday) because I like to cover. Another reason I like using Monokote is that you can use windex to apply trim on top of the base layer. You can also use windex if you are doing Monokote over Ultracote, but you can't use windex to apply Ultracote because it won't work.

Krispycream doughnuts are waiting for you guys right now.. Just go in and tell them I said it was OK for them to give you as many as you want..:D Really the covering was'nt that bad. You know when you travel into uncharted waters how you can get a little stressed not knowing it your doing it right. We'll see about on my next kit.

On open structure like a wing and on most sheeted structure also you want to tack down the perimeter real well and then use the gun to shrink the center down evenly. If a bubble appears in sheeted areas a pin can be used to vent the trapped air. After the gun, iron the covering down to the structure to bond the covering to the wood. On open structure, try to leave very tiny holes in the structure to allow trapped air to escape. Usually there is already plenty of holes in wing structure
