starter/hub

Hi all;
DQOTD: I'm putting together a H9 Cub/OS 70. I'll use a hub instead of spinner to look "right". With my starter, do I simply reverse the rubber insert when starting an engine with a hub?
Thanks!!

Yes, you can reverse the starter insert. You can also buy an insert with an extra-small hole in it.

You could also buy a starter insert meant to work with a bare prop. Not sure how it would work with oversize prop nuts/hubs.

What type of "hub" are you using?

Here is the insert for "Safety Hub"s and "Heavy Hub"s.

However, I prefer to purchuse at the Local Hobby Shop
