Hi,

What do Fuel Dots look like? What are the best one's to use. I searched Tower and just don't see a picture of them.

Thanks

Hanger 9 makes a very nice fuel dot that doesn't cost too much. You can find them here [link]http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=HAN115[/link]

Also, a few pictures for you

Fuel Dots are available from several sources. Tower Hobbies is not the end-all and be-all for this Hobby/sport. There is no way that one outlet can stock everything that you will need and want. Broaden your horizons and look elsewhere.

I like the Tettra Fuel double barbed dots from Central I'm sure you can get them else where.
I did not have great luck with the single barbed ones.... Tower's used to sell double barbed ones
and they may still do, but the last set I waited for was the single barbed ones...

I want to add that if you use a 2 line system with a fuel dot, make sure you put an inline filter between the T connector and the engine. The reason is you are pumping fuel in that could contain trash. This is especially important if you rely on a filtered clunk as you will have fuel in the line that never gets filtered by the clunk.

The easiest way I found to have filtered fuel is to have the filter on the fuel line from the fuel pump. [8D]

Same here :D and one less obstruction getting fuel to the carb.

I use both.... Can't hurt it, and I had no difference in RPM.... I use the duel screened
clear filter.... On my YS's I use the same setup and also have one on the press side,
thinking of doing it to all my planes... Cheap insurance IMO
