RE: How do i make the flaps into ailerons?
Well, the nice thing about flaps is that they create more life, thereby allowing you to fly slower on landing. However, if you don't like them, you could plug 2 Y cords into the Aileron Y cord. That will give you 4 aileron jacks to plug the servos into

I would if you have a computer radio put a Y in Channel 6 and another in Channel 1 and set up flaperons with 0%. that should leave you with standard ailerons.

And look up "CROW" as it pertains to R/C flight and you may change your mind.

Or just go to Horizon Hobbies and download the manual for the Ultra Stick 40 - It has complete programming and setup info for most common computer radios.

RE: How do i make the flaps into ailerons?
On my ultra stick, I just used one Y for left and one Y for right, (2 servos each side), and plugged them into aileron and aux 1. You could even Y the Y's into a Y and use only one channel, but you may need a spool for all that wire..

cyclic hardover,
LIFT=LIFE LOSS OF LIFT=LOSS OF LIFE. Basic aerodynamics. As a helo pilot you should be very aware of this principle. ;) Regards, doubledee |
