I was watching Wings yesterday and saw a segment on Glenn Curtis. The June Bug had ailerons. Ailerons were invented by Alexander Graham Bell, which I found interesting.

Here's an article.

learning the hard way....

dave0101_again,
I was exactly in that very situation a year back. I had 4-5 flights and my instructer politely asked me to find someone else as he wanted to carsh his planes and he didn't like my DEB :D Anyway I went to another field approached whoever was flying there to help with a flight or 2 (buddy) ; sometimes i was nudged but mostly I found some friendly pilot eager to help. Anyway after a month I was ready to solo - today I am a happy SPADer crashing and building and crashing and building ...... dont lose heart

Do a DEB and then a DPS .....

All the Best,
