The Spitfire.

It's the newest of the three, so any problems or quirks that occurred with the P-51 or FW-190 are more likely to be worked out of the model.

That's easy. Go right down the line.

Second plane P-51, Third, FW, and fourth, The Spitfire.

Should take about an afternoon if you take your time.

LOL at agexpert!

If I recall, QUESTO has some RC experience. He probably would be smart enough to keep the Spitfire in the box if he instantly shredded his P-51 and FW-190 on their maidens.

Did they work out that issue with the wing tips?

I've seen the Mustang fly, it's pretty quick, particularly so if you use a LiPo battery instead of the stock NiMh battery pack. If you've gotten really good with the Super Cub it might be worth a shot, though. What the heck? It's only money.

The only other thing that I can think of that might be a good stepping stone would be something like the Phase 3 Swoop RTF from Hobby People:

http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/107116.asp

Flying wings are pretty durable, and the Swoop should be a bit easier to fly than one of the warbirds while still getting you used to higher performance flight. It's a tough call though, there may not be that big of a difference between the Swoop and a Parkzone warbird. If you like the Swoop, try one before you buy a warbird, otherwise go straight to your Spitfire.

Let us know how you do with your warbird.

Is it me or the Spitfire look lighter than the P51 ?

RE: Need help for a final choice......

Interestingly enough, Parkzone lists the following flying weights:

P-51 - 29 ounces
FW-190 - 28 ounces
Spitfire - 26 ounces

That makes the Spitfire a full 10.35% lighter than the Mustang.

Spitfire ALL THE WAY. 3 wire servos (Interchangeable), no contest. Plus it looks better imo.

Or buy my like new P-51... so I can get the Spitfire:D JK; git the Spit. I want one but can't justify it as I already have the Mustang.
