One of our club members was working on a foreign contract and there were some intermittent issues, he was being grilled by his customers about it and made the offhand remark that maybe it was the phase of the moon causing the problems. They took his failed attempt at humor very literally and made a formal request that the specifications be changed to specify that the device was to have full functionality regardless of the moon phase.
We fly in a rural area and I am not opposed to killing a goat at the start of the flying season. The difference is we would call it a barbeque instead of a sacrifice. |

My wife uses our dining room table a sacrificial alter, we have burnt offerings on ever night.

I just had a thought. don't kill the goat. next time ya deadstick and it is a pile, no trash bag needed. just turn the goat loose on it. they will eat anything. quick easy cleanup. might be a little hard on the goat though when he tries to pass the engine and prop out the other end[X(]

We can't sacrifice any animals here but I do have a bag of Pork Rinds I can sprinkle on the runway. I wonder if that will help any?:eek:
