Throttle Curves?

hi all. trying to set up the throttle on my plane. what im trying to do is set up the throttle so that , naturally, all the way down is closed and vice versa. trouble is i go from throttle shut on the stick to full throttl at only half stick. i want full throttle to be with the stick all the way up. its getting confusing now so i thought id ask.

Its a futaba 6ex system.

cheers all

You are usig a too long servo arm. Use a shorter one.

Be sure your ATV is set to 100% both ways. A shorter servo arm will give you more movement at the carburetor.

You either need to increase the size of your servo horn or decrease the size of your carb horn. Most of the time you don't need a new horn just simply move the control rod to the farthest out or most inner hole depending on the horn.

All you have to do is change the ATV on your radio. You can also make the change mechanically by moving your pushrod in a hole or two on the horn.

ALWAYS, get in the habit of making mechanical adjustments and only resort to radio adjustments like ATV as a last resort or at least just for fine tuning.
Move your connecting rod out farther on your servo.

A shorter servo arm will give less movement at the carb and more at the servo. His problem is too much movement at the throttle.

I misread his post, yes you want to move to a hole closer in on your servo.
If you are in the 3rd hole out move it to the 2nd hole and see if that helps.

If you want more movement at the carb you need to put the control horn farther out on the servo horn.

I think he is officially more confused now than he was before. Now, you need less throw at the carb. To do this, move your linkage In towards the center of the servo 1 hole. If this isn't enough, go in 1 more. The same can be done at the carb linkage, but in the opposite direction. I think this is causing the confusion. Moving the linkage OUT at the throttle barrel will also gove less throw. Hope this helps.
