RE: Mistake?
Oh,and I did manage to do a few cartwheels with it(nose to tail) on the ground and nothing broke! There is some hope within this piece of faom! Alot of guys tell me it is all in the balancing of the bird, and everyone says it's under powered(which is obviouse). Damn ducted fan jets are bottom shelf item only! Hang in there,we will get this thing flying!

RE: Mistake?
mine arrived today, I did find a trick to hold the motors while the glue is setting. I tied a piece of string around them to hold them equally ti the fuselage. on another note the screws for the aileron servo were loose on mine also. on the plus side my wife felt so sorry for me when I told her the A-10 was a really cool paper weight she let me go buy the T-28 also!!! I got a side job that is going to finance the brush-less conversion for the A-10. I'm not sure how to determine what is needed so I'll shop around but I'm thinking twin 370's ESC 11.1volt 2200mah lipo outta do the trick. but I might try just swapping out the stock 370's for some that I know work good and see if that will do it on the cheap.

I got bored today and decided to revive the A-10 from the boneyard. amazingly enough I still had all the pieces to glue back together.
and like with anything after you do body work it's time for primer. here's some pics of how it came out. now if I could only get it to fly. |
