I think you are talking about an EZ connector like these http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXE114&P=ML
They have a snap on retainer that is hard to get off and really not reusable when you do.
Unless you are already in the outside hole on the rudder horn you can move that out to reduce throws.

Oh.. that chunk of brass... :D I understand now. Once they are on, they are tough to get off, especially if the metal keeper is used on the underside. You almost have to replace the thing after you remove it. Oh... Missileman already said that.. sorry.. ;)

Yes, that's it. For 279 bucks I can't complain. Cheap enough to get into this hobby, that's for sure. But you get what you pay for. Also, anyone have an idea where you can get the ripmax trainers?

RE: WOT- Servo Feedback

You know, that's not cheap, it works so they do it. There are other methods, of course, but that works. I usually reserve that method (chunk of brass.. ez connector..) for the throttle only. I would hate for that thing to come undone during flight if used on the elevator.. not good!!! So, I use clevis's and other methods of keeping the linkage on the servo arms and the control horns. On the clevis, I put a short lengh of fuel tubing over the clevis to keep it from opening, even after it snaps shut.

Like Justin Wilson, the cajun cook, says, both belts AND suspenders..
