Horizon Hobby kudos
Back in October, I had a muffler manifold break off my Saito 91. I called Horizon, because the engine was under warranty, they agreed to send a replacement manifold, muffler and nuts. They were on backorder, so I got them in mid November. I put them in my shop, still in the box, and only the other day, when I got tired of waiting for the rain and wind to let up, I got them out to install them on my Venture 60. It only took a minute to realize that I couldn't get the manifold to thread into the head, so I took it upon myself to look at the packaging and get the part number off it, and compare it to the parts list for the 91. The parts I received were for the 125, and at 13mm would not fit a 12mm orifice. I didn't think that Horizon would replace these parts, since they were shipped out in November of last year, but when I called them, they didn't even hesitate. Not only that, but I called them on Thurs. the 22nd, and I got them by Fedex today, Sat. 24. To me that was unbelievable. Thank you Horizon!
I had to voice this, after hearing all the negative comments from people about some of the other places that do business to the customer, instead of for the customer. |

Horizon has great customer service. I crashed a sundowner cause an adapter they sell broke. The did not have to do anything but did send me a new cowl and an adapter. Wish they had replaced the pane i crashed but they did not have to replace anything. Also recieved a plane and the hardware was not in it called and instantly was shipped out and got it two days later. Great company for the consumer. I am sure there are some horror stories also lol.
