Wind?

Im am buying the Parkzone T-28 Trojan and I wanted to know what is the maximum wind speed that I could fly in?

Thanks Chris

Hard to put an exact wind speed number on it. It actually does pretty good in winds so long as you aren't talking about tornadoes or hurricanes. Just keep a little throttle on when landing and it'll be fine. The biggest problem on windy days is on the ground; the wind can get under the wing and flip it over.

Flying is not the problem, I've flown mine in 15 to 20mph winds. Landing is the problem. If you do land successfully, more than 10mph wind is likely to turn it over as soon as you kill the motor or turn crosswind.

Light wing loading is generally not considered to do well in the wind

dont fly it in wind in excess of 10mph...its very light and wild

Nah.... just consider the wind a challenge.:D

Planes without much speed have a difficult time getting back if you let them get down wind of you

The little T-28 does surprisingly well in winds. It is fast enough to be able to overcome a decent wind and is actually a good way to work on those windy day skills since it is a challenge you can just buy new pieces or glue it back together if you crack it up. It will definitely flip over on the ground though.
