engine mount for Saito 72
This may not be the correct forum to ask this question but does anyone know if it would be ok to mount a Saito 72 on this mount? <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; white-space: pre; ">http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...XJ772&P=ML

Saito 82. If you through bolt, Don't tighten down too much or the bolts will bend.

Just drill and tap the GPmount. The plastic threads great and holds very well.

That's exactly what this .72 is going on! What is that round plastic thing behind the wing?
Edited to include: By the way, what a great airplane! I had mine out yesterday (with it's 46 AX). There were big white cumulus clowds towering up with blue sky in between. The Big Stick looked great rocketing straight up with those clouds in the background! I would have taken a picture but I was by myself. I was having fun doing full power low speed passes then at the end of the runway turn it straight up as high as I can still see it, and then chop the throttle back to idle and dive straight back down and down the runway in the other direction, still at idle, but with the energy from the dive. At one point I wanted to see if I could land it that way... No problem! The thing slows down so good I was going from about a 400 foot power off dive straight in for a landing! No flaps, no crow, just that big fat wing slowing things down! Too much fun. I like discovering new things it can do. |

It houses my Switch. Keeps the fuel residue from the switch. I Should have mounted switch on the left side of the fuse. Bob |
