Double sided servo tape
I have been salvaging parts from a wrecked Foamie and have a problem. I cut thru the D/S servo tape to get the Receiver off the plane. So far so good, but what is an easy way to get the tape off the Receiver ? slowgo

Try dental floss.

Peel most of it off then use "Goo Gone " to take the sticky goo off. You can get it at Wall Mart or most hardwares etc.. ENJOY !!! RED

Finger pressure pushing the foam/adhesive and scraping with fingernails. Oh, and a lot of patience.

I scrape it off with a finger nail, then use mineral spirits to remove the glue residue.

RE: Double sided servo tape
I have always used liquid lighter fluid (Zippo fluid) for all my sticky needs. It works much better than Goo Gone, and doesn't leave the greasy residue that Goo Gone does. It is super cheap too!

RE: Double sided servo tape
Most servo tapes I've ever used will simply "roll" off if you rub it real hard with your thumb. Alcohol or brake cleaner on a paper towel for any remaining residue.

WD-40 works great. I have been using it for years. It removes sticker and tape type adhesives without damaging plastics.
