Did they wire my motor backwards?
Starting on my first electric, a Clancy Aviation Yard Bee ARF. Was going to break/wear in the motor (280 with 2/1 gearing) so I attached a D cell battery to the motor and it ran backwards! Prop is on the right way, red wire to POS, black wire to NEG, and the motor runs backwards. What's going on...is there some shift inside the electronics when you hook it up to the radio and ESC, or did my motor come with the wires soldered backwards on the terminals?
Rather confused at the moment, thanks in advance for some clarity.

RE: Did they wire my motor backwards?
The motor was manufactured as a direct drive motor. When you attach a gear box to it, the direction of the prop shaft is reversed. Don't worry about it, just reverse the motor wires. For break in, I would leave the prop off.
