Has anyone tryed the MTM400F Outrunner Brushless motor yet? It can be used with the GWS

Yes they work just fine!!

I have the MTM400 Outrunner in a GWS 400 gearbox with 3.4:1 gears spinning an 11x4.7 prop at about 12.5 amps in my House of Balsa T-6 Texan kit....

Flies great...

I have the MTM 400F with a 3:1 gearbox. I am using a 1080 prop and my home built plane weighs 25 oz. With my Kokam 1500 11.1v battery the planes just leaps off the ground and flies like a bat out of you know what!! I absolutely love it!

Check out the www.justgofly.com website, and search "RCGroups" forums - there is a wealth of information there on 300DF, 400T and 400F.

Cheers, Phil
