brushless/controller q's
First, the wires on my brushless are a little short i would have to add about 5" between motor/controller is this normal? Second, do you always wire direct from motor to controller or add a deans plug between. Third, I have a jeti controller with the program card, once i set it up is that it no more messin' around?
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: brushless/controller q's
It's up to the manufacturer, but 5" of wire sounds about average.
In most applications, that's enough wire. You want to keep the ESC and receiver separate if at all possible. If you need to lengthen the wire, I would recommend that you add wire to the motor, and use gold "barrel" connectors to join the ESC and motor. Keep the wire the same length on all three legs, as short as possible, and use wire that's the same gauge or thicker than the wire on the ESC.
