Default Brake Function?

Hello gang. I am new to electrics, just having purchased my first electric sailplane. I received a program card with my ESC. I believe I understand most of the choices, but what is the brake function? If brake is set to on or off, what happens? Also, my kit came with a folding prop. Am I correct in assuming that if I advance the throttle on my TX, the prop will unfold and spin and then if I cut the throttle off, the prop will automatically stop and fold up? Or do I have to flip a switch on the TX to get the prop to fold? Any help will be appreciated!!

Default RE: Brake Function?

Welcome to the best hobby ever
The folder props unfold and fold automatically
Using centrifugal force and wind in flight
(No extra channel, no flipping a switch)
The brake will stop the spin of the prop so
It won’t hit anything when it folds.

Don’t worry about landing gravity sucks

Thanks for the info, Fred. I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future.
