Default Stock Stryker question

Can the stock elect. and the motor from a Stryker be used with a 3-cell(11.1) li-pol battery?
If it can is there any improvement over the 8.4 volt batt.?

If you have the Stryker 27B (the new version), you can change the receiver jumpers to allow use of 11.1 li-po batteries along with the short propeller supplied with the plane when using li-po batteries. The jumper allows for a safe voltage cutoff when using lipos and the short prop keeps from overloading the motor so it will last longer.

Ok how do you tell if it is a B or (new version)? There are no jumpers that I am use to but the is a three pin plug behind one of the servo plugs. Also in the middle of the board there is the connection for the combat module.

The B version has a B written up in the left hand corner of the box. It says F-27B. You will see big performance difference using the 3 cell 2100 thunder power battery. The jumps that jmir is taking about are inside the rx. You need to pull it out of your stryker and look for an oval size hole that has a piece of scotch tape over it. Remove the tape and unplug the jump to move the voltage cutoff to 9.0v. The digram for the jumps is in your manual. The jumps are back.
