Default RE: will this work?

Himaxx rates the motor for 14A bursts for 15 seconds. Here's the pdf document on the motor:

http://www.maxxprod.com/pdf/HC2812-xxxx.pdf

A 10x4.7 prop on a 3S LiPoly (~11V) shows a current draw of around 12 Amps, which would make for about 131 Watts. Provided you can keep it at 14oz or under, that would make some decent 3D power. It might even be pretty good considering it's a large, low-pitch prop.

Drop to a 9x4.7 slo-fly for a decent sport flyer that will probably hover.

For all-out craziness, you could go to an 11x4.7 or even 11x3.8 prop, but keep in mind that you'll need to keep the full throttle runs to a minimum.
