Default advance 40 opto plus

I'm installing my new Jeti advance 40 opto plus in my plane. this esc doesn't have a bec...do I need something to reduce the current to my receiver to power my servos?? and if so what do I need...Thanks,,

If the ESC has no BEC, you simply power the receiver with an ordinary flight pack. What you use, 4.8V or 6V is up to you. The alternative is to buy a separate device to use the motor battery. If you can afford the weight, and since you are using a 40 amp ESC I assume you can, use a separate flight pack. That way you are not doomed if the LiPo dies on you in flight.
