Hi i have a Fun factor 1/10 car with a NT-16 engine fitted as standard with it, the con rod has snapped, i have seen on Ebay a SH 18 engine from Hong Kong and they tell me it will fit in its place, is this right? and can i just swap over the clutch ,2 speed bell Etc?

It "should" fit, make sure it is a side exhaust and rotary carb.
Edit: All the SH .18 motors I see on ebay have a slide carb. You would be better to get an OS .18 cvrx with the 11j rotary carb. It is a durable motor and fits with no mods.

Thanks for that! Could you tell me if the clutch ,flywheel, bell 2 speed gears would fit onto the shaft output ok from my Nt-16 to the SH .18?

The clutch bell and parts may fit on the sh motor, I cannot say. I would guess so, but that would only be a guess. If it's not a rotary carb, I wouldn't mess with it. For not much more, you can get an OS .18 cvrx motor that is a direct replacement.
