I have a Nova Rosi 2001BF, I've been having issues with the glow plugs literally melting . The coils are sinking into the glow plug after just a few mins ( this is with McCoy 59glow plugs) I was told that McCoys were good for my motor but I have definately proved that one wrong on multiple occations. If anyone has ran or runs this motor, what would a good glow plug be to use. I've also used O'Donnell 100 monster truck plugs and only had a problem withthe filiment in the plug snapping in half without any other sign of the plug failing. If anyone has any Ideas I'm open to suggestions. I don't know if I should be using a low heat or hot glow plug or what but I would like my plug to last more that just one night of racing. Thanks.

if your crunching plugs then there is a good chance your have damaged the engine...Every time you crunch a plug particles of the coil enter the engine and cause all kinds of havok.... that would explain why you keep killing plugs one after another...... Any time you break a coil on a glowplug you really should take the engine apart and clean it to be sure no debris from te plug is inside the engine..... Even tho the pieces of plug wire have broken free they are still reactive inside the combustion chamber and can cause all sorts of detonation issues, which will cause you to keep killing plug after plug...I suggest taking the head off the engine and inspecting the top of the piston and the underside of the head button...I wouldn't run the engine till you take it apart....
