Default .16 nitro engine having problems

I have a nitro rc car with a .16 nitro engine. I can get it to start but after almost a hour of trying to start it, and even then it just dies when I break. When ever I prime it to get fuel into the engine a reasonagle amount of fuel spits out of the carb. Any Ideas? Also fuel comes out of where the two halfs of the exhaust attach. Is that a big problem or can it run fine with that? Thank You!

Make sure your idle is set high enough, your needles are set ok, and some leakage from the exhaust is ok

ok so I just started it and it was running fine and wasnt dieing when i was breaking but fuel still spit out of the carb when I was starting it. That and for some reason right when i turn it on and just randomly for about 10 sec. when im running it, it will just move forward when you press the throttle very slowly and even if you put full throttle it will always go the same speed as no or little throttle.

I was just messing around with some stuff to get it working fully and noticed that the carb. is getting stuck. What I mean by that is that when ever i pull the throttle fully and then release it it slides to the side and goes down to about half throttle and then stops and i cant make it idle unless i put full throttle again and hope it doesn't get stuck again.

Make sure the linkage is not binding. Use a throttle return spring.

I think there is already a throttle return spring.
