Default OFNA Starter Box Batteries

I just received an OFNA Starter Box (OFN10244)

The instructions state it uses "two 6-cell battery packs". I have one stick pack that I use for my Savage RotoStart,
My questions:
1. Can I fabricate this so stick packs will fit?
2. If not, should I get "block" packs?
3. It came with an extra wire. How do I wire this?

If anyone has that same model and can upload a pic of their configuration, I would duly appreciate it.

Thanks!

As long as you end up with the correct voltage it does not really matter what you use.
Not sure on the extra wire, got any pictures?

As long as your stick batterys have Tamiya connectors, plug them in and go.

Thanks, guys. I got it figured out. The instructions on it were aweful, but got it working. Now just hope it "works" for real after my D8T build, which should be finished in the next day or so. I assume I just align the fly wheel and press down? If there is anything other than that I need to be aware of, I'd love to know. Thanks!
