Default engine dies without igniter question

i have a fantom fr 18 and have a problem. When i had first got the engine and broke it in i would have to fire it up, drive it for about 20 seconds in a circle and then let it sit and idle. If i didnt it would die out, i thought it was the glow plug becasue i had the original one from the break in but i couldnt replace it becasue it is a turbo plug and my LHS doesnt carry them. So i ordered some Novarossi Short body average filament plugs and the truck will not even sit and idle with out the ignitor. The second i take it off it will die but i dont understand becaseu the plugs are brand new. The needles are fine and adjusted well, when i get it up and running which i can do by quickly firing it up and driving it around a bit with the igniter but when i bring it back in to put the body on i need to be quick or it will stall out. Also when it idles for a bit and then i hammer on it its like there is alot of unburned fuel it sputters out before it gets on its way. When i put a brand new plug in it will have idling problems but i can drive it for about a tank then it really has idling problems, if i fire it up and pull off the igniter it will die after running for maybe 10 seconds. Are the plugs just junk because they were cheap but i would think i would get more life then what im getting. PLEASE HELP ME IM SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS ENGINE, but when its running the fr 18 is nasty and have much love, should i order the original plugs that come with the fantom? PLEASE HELP thanks guys, Matt.

if i am reading that right it sounds like you need to spend the cash and get a proper plug for the engine. if it's a turbo get a turbo plug. should solve your issue.
