Default Pull start slips unless glow plug slightly loosened

Hey.. I need help... I just got a Picco 27 today. I got the optional roto start which doesnt turn the engine over. Thats problem one. So I put the Pull start on and it fired right up. when done breaking in the engine for the day, I decided to try to figure out why the roto wouldnt work...so after some playing and no luck, I put the pulll start back on and it just pulls and does not turn the engine over. I then took the one-way out and soaked in in denatured alchol to get the oilresidue out. no luck. So I loosened the glow plug, and it fired right up and when I tightened it back, it ran fine. but when it stopped( out of gas), it went back to not turning over until I loosened the glow plug. Any ideas??? Do I need to add another washer to the glow plug? Im really new to this, and any help would be awsome...Thanks guys!!

Brand new engines have a very tight cylinder to piston pinch, which means you will need to be loosening up the glow plug to start the engine for probably about 15 tanks of run time. Warm the engine with a hair dryer also this will help a lot with starting. Keep the pull start on until the engine is fully broken in, then put on the rotostart unit if you want.
