Traxxas has you do a 1/4 throttle for two seconds coast and repeat for 1 tank. Then 1/2 throttle for 2 seconds, 2 tanks, then 1/2 throttle 3 seconds. For the 4 tank do full throttle for 2 seconds and for the 5 tank accelerate for 3 seconds, to full throttle, and hold for 2 seconds. You are also supposed to let it cool completly after the 1 and 2 tank.

Another is to let it idle for 2 tanks, cooling in between, and then half throttle for 3 seconds for two tanks.
