ok can someone or everyone explain to me what this is what they do whats in them and how much they are and are worth me buying one

a boost bottle goes on the carb. At idel, fuel builds up in the bottle. when you step on the throtle all the built up fuel goes straight into the engine. Basicaly it gives you more low end punch.

The short answer is, don't waste the money. There is no measureable benefit to "boost bottles" on nitro engines in my experience.

They don't get fuel at idle its when you have been running hard then shut the throttle. Pressure builds up between the crankcase and the closed carb shoving the air/fuel into the bottle. When you crack the throttle open this already stored and mixed fuel is already at the crankcase ready to go before the fresh air/fuel mix can get all the way through the carb. If you don't notice a proformance gain with a boost bottle you don't have the engine tuned correctly for the bottle. I used them on my dragster. Fastest time without the bottle was 2.14 sec for the scale quarter mile 132 ft. With the bottle I dropped that to a 2.006. That is a lot of time to drop in 132 ft or an average long straight. There are some tuning things you need to be aware of. The length of line from the carb to the bottle can be shortened or lengthened to get better response. Placing the bottle where cool air can blow over it will help also.

wow. might get a boost bottle. i would imagine it would help for punching out of corners, when your going WOT, then brake and turn, then punch out of the corner......, no?

It's a very subtle increase in low end punch. To me it's not even worth the cheap value they are worth.
