traxxas 2.5 vs o.s .18 cv-rx (s)
SO witch one is better? Witch has more power? I just bought a o.s and the guy at my hobby shop siad that the 2.5 would take the o.s?? IS this true?

If the 2.5 could take the O.S .18 then i guess pigs can fly. i may be new to this site but i know that the O.S .18 will take the 2.5 any day

Thats good. They try to make traxxas look like god engines. I have the old tmaxx with .15 will i have to replace anything in gearing. Will it eat my spur gear or anything like that. I know its a direct drop in but will the gearing hold it.

it should. I started having problems with mine when i put my picco .27 in it. It wont eat ur spur gear(if u have the mesh right).

Thats good because im all outa money now lol. the engine should be here on friday. i just hope nothing goes wrong on my t maxx.

i have experience with both motors. my friend has the trx 2.5 and i have the os .18. my os has been much more reliable and puts out more power, but cant match the trx in top end rpm's.

Ok so i bought the engine but For some reason it is supose to be a drop in for the old ,15 but the shaft it to short to reach to the gear? Do i need new setup? Has anyone had this problem? I mean i just got it today and tower siad it was a drop in?
