Got 2 questions on engine flooding. first how bad is it the flood an engine, second how can i prevent flooding an engine.

Flooding an engine in itself isn't bad - but trying to turn the engine over WHILE it's flooded can and probably will damage the internals. Make sure the engine is tuned properly and you don't overprime it and it's shouldn't flood.
