Default EB Mods....

Anyone know how to get in contact with Ed from EB Mods? I tried calling, leaving messages, and emails. My next option is small claims court.

I bought two Novarossi 528XR's from him last summer, 2005, and one of them had the mounting ear on the crankcase break off. Sent it back to Ed, he said it was a casting flaw and would be replaced. I had contact with him up until December 2005, and he apoligized for the delay, he was busy, and will send it out shortly. It is now July 2006, still no engine, still no contact.

I tried my credit card company, but they said that it was too late for them to do anything. Everything must be filed within 90 days and they recommended small claims court. I just want my money back.

that sucks. I have been playing with the thought of getting one of his modded 28`s, but I think I will pass now. I dont`t think it will be easy to remedy **** like the above when you live far away in Norway. Always thought eb mods was a solid firm

I would try calling him at 570-718-0161, if you can't get ahold of him that way then send him a certified letter to this address;

EB MODS
Ed Bridges
430 Shoemaker Street
Swoyersville PA 18704

I know that he is swamped with work as he is doing OS engines Tower Hobbies to sell.

Heres a little update...

Ed just sent back my engine, thrown into a bag in pieces, with the broken crankcase. He didn't send the crankcase he promised. He has my contact information, and still has not contacted me. So is this how he deals with warranty problems? He receives the engine, take it apart, throw in into a bag, and send it back without a word after 1 year?

Mdbeachy,

I have tried everything, including emailing his private email address. He was swamped with tower hobbies, but that deal was old and done with. I even contacted his dealers to see if he is available. I don't know if I should proceed with small claims or just call it a lost, and never deal with that jerk ever again.

BTW, I have 3 novarossi 528's. Two EB mods, and one stock. I should take a picture of a stock sleeve and modded sleeve for you guys to see the difference...

Excuse the user name mix up. SiriosRevo is my younger brother's username.
