Default TRX 3.3 problems...

I bought a brand new 3.3 for my T-Maxx and only got through 2 tanks for the break-in and it wouldnt start up any more...I replaced the glow plug and seal. I even got a new igniter...It still wouldnt start so i took the plug out again and happened to look into the head and noticed that the whole top of the piston is pitted like crazy!!! I dont know how this could have happened...I never touched the factory settings or nothing...Im gonna get a hold of Traxxas after the holiday and see what they will do...
I was wondering if anybody thinks they will replace it or what?

Did you try primming the engine. Try giving it some throttle when trying to start it.

Ive tried that...but thats not my "main" problem...It's the fact that the piston is screwed up...

well if your able to take a pic do so. Some engine's when run enough tend to get a tarnish on them and when people see this on the top they freak out. Some with different fuels get more tarnish and some fuels tend to give a little less tarnish. Some times the tarnish look's a dark black and some just have a light golden brown color to them. Myabe if your able to take the head off and post a pic, it might just be the tarnish or you could actually have a problem. But as said if your able to take a pic and we might be able to help you a little better.
