I have a Factory RC10GT and am thinking bout getting into some up coming races. Right now I have a Megatech 16 on it. I have decided to get a new motor and was wondering which model to get. The local hobby shop told me to get a OS 15 or 18, for bashing but tells me he would use a 12 crv (I think that is what he called it) for racing.I know I have to use a 12 to be ROAR legal. I really want to be able to make good power through the powerband. I know every1 has asked "which one" but this is not the case. I was wondering what motors perform the best in a RC10GT. I just dont know the names or company's of engine builders. I just need some good company's or websites. The engine I have now runs well but In no way is competetive. All help would be helpful.

try looking into the following engine makes- these would be my choice, hopefully it helps.

the OS .12 CV-RX seems to be a popular engine for the RC10GT's a few years back. I was looking to purchase one for my RS4 and when i was researching i keep seeing people have them in GT's

Maybe a O.S .12TZ, that thing has some insane power, more power then the .12cvr does. But the .12cvr has some good power in it also, it has a good power band and is good for racing.
