I've went through two pullstarters recently. does anyone know of a good pullstarter for the 4.1 savage x engine. i have the roto start to fall back on but would like to find a pullstarter with metal insides cause that's where they keep breaking. maybe the next one i get i'll take apart right away and put different line in it so it won't get to the end and cut into the inside spool. any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

If you mean the spool then it's a simple fact that you're pulling to far. You should not pull any farther than 6 to 8 inches.

stop pulling the thing so freaking hard and out so far and dont hydrolock the engine, simple

you don't have to act like an a** i was looking to see if anyone had found a better pullstarter. i'm coming to the conclusion that it's hydrolocking causing the problems!!! thanx

i wasnt meaning it in an offensive way (if i came out like that which im sure it did) plus i was tired, my bad

the general rule is if it doesnt start with 8 inch pulls then you are doing something wrong
