I have a gs truggy and I need a good fast engine for it. Please tell me the engine u have in your truggy or buggy or a engine you know has a good performance. I'm looking at a 200$ motor.

Try a STS D30M!! This engine will flat eat most other big blocks alive including
some higher end Italian racing engines costing $400.00 +. The power band on
this particular engine does not start to fall flat after mid range RPM's are reached
but "screams" well into the high end like smaller race .21's do. If you need a race
legal engine size STS also makes a .28 that is also a killer engine but for bashing
and bragging rights I would take the D30M hands down. This engine requires a slow
and easy 1 gallon of fuel break in, remove three head shims, start to lean that carb
toward a race tune and look out for a total beast of a powerplant!! The best part is
you can buy the engine and matching tuned pipe for around your $200.00 goal. I
highly recommend the STS #0702 tuned pipe because this motor has such radical
port timing that other pipes won't allow the full performance potential of it. TopSpeedToys
and Racernine both carry this line of engines and pipes. I paid $135.00 for the D30M and
another $45.00 for the pipe I put in my Revo from Mark over at TopSpeedToys. Check it out!!

The upper RPM range is around 35,000 and yes that pipe is matched for the
powerband and port timing of the STS30. I am running one on my Revo and
they are of high quality!! Go for it!!

You bought the 0704 for your D30M? Damn! I bought a 0702 instead! The link I clicked on for the exhaust for the D30/20M shows a 0702! I am going th break-in my D30M today, I just hope I have the correct exhaust.

SAVAGEJIM you have the correct pipe. I had a brain fart and said #0704 when it is
actually #0702 so you are good to go. Take it slow and easy on that break in till you
reach the one gallon mark and can pull those head shims and work toward that race tune.
Your reward for all your patience will be a very nasty engine. By the way did you get the
new Rev2 .30 ??

The OS V-spec race tuned in particular is a beast at the track! But that engine is a $500 engine; be prepared to shell out as much money for that engine as you did just to buy your whole RTR!
