Who does affordable engine mods?
Does any body do custom button mods to turn a standard plug into a turbo plug?

The best thing to do is save your worn piston and cylinders when they wear out, buy a decent rotary tool (like Dremel) with a variety of cutting stones and bits. Practice on these junk cylinders and /or junk engines, then when you are adept enough, mod a new engine when you feel comfortable.

Yah but i don't realy have any junkers laying around to practice on.
I have a rossi PT-21 P5 SX that was in my turmoil and it ripped in that but now it is going in my new mugen mbx5t prospect truggy I know I realy want a MR28 Ninja but this is what I have for now I'm going to convert it to a turbo plug to sqeeze some hp out of her then get it modded I would rather spend 85 bucks at ABMODS than spend 399.00 for a new motor.
I also have a hyper .12 in my CRT .5 I also want to do some mods on thats why I asked if any body has seen a mod to a button to make into a turbo because from what I know no one makes one for the hyper .12 I just want to sqeeze some extra power. I can put a OS .18 tz in it but that is not realy usable hp I want a smooth torqe curve since the CRT .5 has such a small wheel base. Don't need to be spinning the tires all over the place I have never seen some one win races doing that.
Anyways thanks guys for the suggestions and if know any other places or have any other ideas that would be great
Thanks

I hate to say it, but the most effective and affordable engine mods are probably your own. Commercial engine modders really only do very basic and very simple modifications, and those run about at least $100 per engine.
