I purchased what i feel is a high quality engine but I have NO idea on what it is and if it's worth running in my XBR
Anyone out there ever heard of a Rossi Supper off
Annyone have any info on this engine
If you have a manual I'd be most pleased
My engine looks the same as the pic other than the words Super Off on the head

Looks like that might be an Axe Rossi motor but I can't tell which one it is. I went to their website and I can't find that engine with that cooling head. I would either take it to a hobby shop or contact Axe Rossi at [email protected] and send them a picture of that engine. Let me know what you find out because I'm curious.

Thunderbird was right, it's an Axe Rossi. I found a .pdf file from a link at http://www.internet-rc.com/rococartren.html where there's a very similar engine called a Black Magic. The crankcase is black and the head is plain aluminium but otherwise the same. Engine code is 125R21 and the same basic engine is offered as a marine engine as well. The most unusual thing is the 6 point engine mounting system which is usually only seen on very high performance engines and this is the first time I've seen it with a car engine.
Given the Rossi reputation this should be one seriously good engine.
